Rain Gardens 101 - AFTERNOON

A rain garden is an attractive landscaping feature that serves two important functions: it improves water quality by capturing and filtering rainwater and runoff while also providing habitat for pollinators through its use of native flowering plants. It can also be a problem-solver in yards that have wet spots or drainage issues – those are ideal locations for a rain garden. You will learn: why, where, and how to build one, recommended plants to include, and common mistakes to avoid.

Note:

Thursday, May 7 from 2-3pm
Cost: $5 non-resident, $4 city resident
